The Recording Pod

The full operating website for The Recording Pod, a podcast & video studio I built and run — booking, payments, member-hours tracking, studio-rental approvals, an automated blog, and a content pipeline — replacing the off-the-shelf Wix site it had outgrown.

• 01A custom Next.js application the studio now runs its business on, replacing Wix.
• 02Live Stripe payments so sessions and rentals are charged directly through the site.
• 03Cal.com integration so clients book studio time against real availability.
• 04Member-hours tracking so the studio can see and manage each member's used time.
• 05A studio-rental workflow that reviews and approves a request before the card is charged — the studio controls what it takes money for.
• 06An automated weekly blog (AI-generated, stored in Supabase) and a content pipeline that transcribes an upload, detects clips, writes copy, cuts them, and delivers finished assets.

The studio ran on a Wix template that couldn't support how it actually operated — charging for sessions, tracking member hours, approving rentals before taking money, and getting produced content back to clients. The template set the ceiling and the business had outgrown it.
